Once an apple orchard, the Somerhill Golf Club has retained much of its pastoral heritage and provides golfers with a tranquil and serene setting in which to enjoy their sport. The land at Somerhill ranges from rolling to hilly and some of the original apple trees still grace this picturesque course. A gently flowing creek winds its way through the course, affecting play on several holes, perhaps most dramatically on the 8th hole where it crosses the fairway no less than three times.
